Omni Points

Points distributed every Friday at 00:00 UTC for the previous week's platform activity. Referrals pay 1 point for every 10 your referees earn, and tier status adds up to 5%.

the catch: No weekly pool size is published anywhere in the docs, so the denominator you are competing against is unknown. Variational reserves the right to modify the programme or point totals at its sole discretion for behaviour it judges inorganic.

mPoints — Purple Summer

A 16-week campaign from 8 July. 1,000,000 mPoints total: 800,000 through weekly trading rewards (50,000 a week), 200,000 reserved for builder codes, tournaments and community bonuses. Snapshots every Wednesday, distribution every Monday.

the catch: MON arrives only when the campaign ends in late October — nothing is paid weekly. Only $500,000 of the pool is guaranteed; the second $500,000 unlocks in $100,000 steps, and only while the platform's OI-Adjusted ADV — min(average daily volume, time-weighted average open interest × 10) — holds its level over a rolling 7-day window. Your own trading cannot move that; it is a platform-wide gate.

RISE Points Season 1 — Ignite

200,000 points a week from 20 July, scored on maker and taker volume, open interest, position hold time and total costs paid — fees, slippage and negative markouts — rather than raw turnover. Referred users add 10% of their points to yours.

the catch: In their own words: the calculation model and weightings change every week and are deliberately not published, to stop the programme being gamed. You are optimising against a target you cannot see.

Season 3 XP

4,000,000 XP distributed every Wednesday, across trading, liquidity provision and community engagement. Affiliate referrals pay bonus XP on top of the base weekly pool.

the catch: Season 3 has been live since 1 February with no end date announced, and the docs say a new XP system is still rolling out with updated documentation to follow — so the rules you are farming under are explicitly not final.

Points Program

No more than 600,000 points in any weekly distribution, across trading, liquidity, referrals and even bug reports and structured feedback. 69,143,259 points had been distributed as of 28 July 2026.

the catch: 600,000 is a ceiling, not a promise. The docs state points are program units that are not freely transferable or tradable, are not money and have no guaranteed monetary value. Restricted jurisdictions are excluded but the list lives in the Terms, not here.

Hibachi

Hibachi Points

A fixed 1,000,000 points per seven-day epoch, distributed every Monday at 03:00 UTC, with referral boosts running three levels deep. FX volume unlocks weekly multipliers: 1.05x at $100k per market, rising to 1.50x at $1M — and the highest multiplier you unlock applies to your ENTIRE weekly activity, not only the FX part.

the catch: The docs say FX tier thresholds may increase over time, so today's 1.5x bar is not tomorrow's. Vault Playoffs mechanics are still unannounced, and Hibachi reserves the right to disqualify or adjust accounts for wash trading or multi-account farming.

Ondo Perps Points

Points on trading activity on Ondo Perps, where higher volume and open interest increase your share of the pool. Listed as Active on the Foundation's own campaigns page.

the catch: The pool size is not published — the campaigns page gives no weekly points number at all, and the two sibling campaigns openly say the reward rate is still to be announced. You are farming a share of an undisclosed denominator.

Referral Program

Referees get 4% off fees on their first $25M of volume; referrers earn 10% of those fees on the first $1B referred. You need $10,000 of your own volume to create a code, discounts do not apply to vaults or sub-accounts, and rewards are claimable only above $1.

Trade to Earn

TradFi Trading Season

110% rebate on filled-trade fees, paid in USDC and $EDGE, plus a leaderboard pool of up to 200,000 USDC and a 100,000 $EDGE pool for new accounts.

the catch: Only 13 markets count — BTC, ETH, gold, silver, crude and eight synthetic equity/index perps. The leaderboard needs 100,000 USDC of cumulative volume; the starter tier needs 5,000 USDC. Half the rebate arrives as EDGE, so that half carries token price risk.

Curated board. Unlike every other board on this site the numbers here are NOT fetched: campaigns are announced in blog posts and docs, not APIs. The discipline that replaces the fetch is scripts/check-farm.mjs — it refuses to build a row without an official source_url and a stated verification level, and moves anything past its end date to `ended`. What IS computed is the column nobody else publishes: cost_to_qualify, derived from our own measured order-book costs in exec-cost.json. On 2 Aug every row was re-read against its source; six claims that came from secondary reporting rather than the venue's own page were removed. Cost basis: BTC at $100,000 per clip, from our own order-book walk (exec-cost Invalid Date); measured on 13 venues.
